Shopping with women

Men's clothes are easy. Casual means, t-shirt and jeans/shorts. Business casual, semi formal, means polo or dress shirt with slacks. Formal is a suit or tux. It doesn't really get much more complicated than that.

Women's clothes on the other hand are in a whole other league of complexity. Style and fit seems to be more important then form or function. There does not seem to be the same tightly controlled structure as with men's clothing. A dress can be casual, semi formal or formal. Some outfits can be all three and some cannot. Some need to tied up and others need to hang loose. Sometimes everything seems like it just doesn't make any sense. Well that's coming from a males perspective.

I'm not sure if men's clothing should become more complicated or if women's clothing should be more uniform. Maybe well just maybe it is as it should be.

Cheers

Mike
